Brooke Brunelle is a 20-year-old metalsmith and jeweler based in Portland, Maine. She received a BFA in Metals from Maine College of Art & Design in 2026 (pending May). Primarily working in sterling silver, copper, and cloisonne enamel– Brunelle fabricates lockets and vessels dedicated to the heart. As a metalsmith, poet, and a romantic, Brunelle’s work touches upon the sentimentality and emotions we carry, focusing on how it integrates into the jewelry we wear- and the objects we keep. She refers to the locket as being the perfect vessel for the exploration of a “paperless journal.” Encapsulated by nature's hidden metaphors, Brunelle aims to create work that holds these symbolic meanings with precious care.
